Hi there!

A few week ago they sent me an email from the “College of psychologists of Chile” about the a course with the name “Tools for pandemic psychologists”.

I believe that in this context of pandemic it´s a them very important and interesant because nobody was prepared to live a pandemic and work from home for example. Is the situations to the psychologists. They did not have the tools for this format of works with the people and it´s a job that cannot be neglected.

When the course at the beginning teaches about technological tools to work and i think that is very important because everytime we need more the technology and it always evolves. There are classes of technologies to do online work or they also show tools to use when we have to do video meetings that are conference technologies and it is very useful because we need it when we eork or when we study

As a future psychologist it is very important for me because always is good have tools

Blog 7- A subject you enjoy studying this semester (or any semester)

In this semester i took a subject with the name “School psychology”. Is a subject that i like it so much because is of psychologist area that i would like study after. that is Educational psychologist.

Is an area of the psychology that study everything related with  the school environment and in the my university it is one of  the few subject that is more practical and is more useful for me because i want to be educational psychologist in the future.

We have a work in which we contacted a school psychologist who is working and with his help we can know his experience and contributes to our knowledge

I would recommend it to my university classmates who want to work in this area in the future because it offers you experience and it is also a very dynamic class.

Blog 3 - Your favorite piece of technology

I there!

My favorite piece of the technology is my phone definitely. I never be very passionate for the phones the latest model for example. but the last year i was decide bought one and was very expensive but it was worth it.

I like to take photos all the time and this cell phone has a very good camera and when i have many photos it does not ask to delete other things for storage since it has a lot of space. 

I can listen to much music although have to much technology to make homeworks without have the need of have a computer this i like it so much  

the cell phone of my past was very simple. for this i want to take care this because is impossible that i could bought it again 

Although the cell phone are very useful to communicate

Blog 2 Why did you choose this Career: Study programme?

When I was a kid i had many ideas about the profession i wanted. the first career was a secretary and after teacher  because i liked the idea of have papers and order

But when i grew up the career that i was really appasionate about was astronomy but i have visual impairment for this i though in a career more useful for me and with my personality my family and my friends always told me that i am good listening and giving advice for this i prefer psychology

My experience at the university has been very good  but complicated because my family is away and in Santiago i am alone. but my career and my new friends had given me tools to achieve my goal.

In the future i would like explore the flight attendant jobs because i like travel and knows places

I am María, I was born in Puerto Montt, is a city to south of Chile, is so beautiful.
But I have lived all my life in Lebu is a small city also to south of Chile but more closer to Santiago. I have 22 years old and I study in the Liceo Isidora Ramos de Gajardo that is a humanist. I lived with my mother María she have 55 years old, my Father Patricio he have 52 years old, and I have two sisters, Diana that have 21 years old and Baleria that have 26 years old.

                                         

And I have a dog, my dog is a 8 years old and is a Fox terrier breed I adopted it when was very baby.
